Style exploration and design iteration

Some footprints of Style exploration and design iteration for an unannounced project in 2022.

The initial concept of this entire project revolves around Norse Mythology.

The first part, 'The Past of the Gods,' depicts the deities and heroes in their most primal forms. To emphasize the divine nature of the gods, I intentionally elongated their proportions to stand significantly taller than humans, while infusing their bodies with golden energy and elemental power.

As the project evolved, the direction gradually shifted toward 'The Present of the Gods.' The core question became: If these gods entered the new century and attempted to integrate into the daily lives of ordinary people, how would they adapt? How would their designs change?

The process involved several major pivots, but of course, that is exactly where the fun and challenge of iteration lie. I gained a wealth of experience and overcame many challenges along the way. Hope you enjoy it.

Sif: Goddess of Harvest, Grain, and Abundance. The design revolves around wheat and agricultural crops, emphasizing a tall, slender, and elegant silhouette that evokes an upward-growing posture.

Odin, the All-Father As the Lord of the Gods, he commands the raw energy of lightning. His presence is defined by a majestic, kingly demeanor befitting a ruler. A unique visual manifestation appears behind him: the ancient branches of the World Tree merge

Sigard, the Dragonslayer Drawing inspiration from the Monster Hunter crafting system, Sigard is designed around the concept of harvesting parts from beasts to create his gear. His signature lance was forged directly from the body of a legendary Fire Drago
