This set of illustrations were specially created for the game Fate War. I handled both the character design and illustration sketches myself, and incorporated AI assistance during the final rendering stage.
Since the artwork was made specifically for Spine animation, every visible part had to be sliced and layered for animation use. As a result, some of the edges may not look as perfectly polished as in a standalone illustration.
Because of all the slicing and layering, the workload ended up being several times heavier than usual — it was definitely one of the tougher projects I’ve done. But looking back, I’m really proud of how it turned out. The process pushed me to learn new tools and helped us establish a more efficient production workflow for the team. Overall, it was a challenging but very rewarding experience.
